What data the app handles

Cadence Log lets you log work hours, job-site addresses, notes, hourly rates, and photos. All of this is stored locally on your device, using Apple's standard on-device storage.

iCloud Sync (optional, Pro feature)

If you turn on iCloud Sync, your entries, rates, address notes, and photos are also stored in your own private iCloud account, tied to your Apple ID. This lets your data follow you across your own devices. Apple manages this storage under its own privacy policy — we do not have access to it.

Device permissions

• Camera — only used to attach a photo to an entry, saved locally/in your iCloud.
• Location — only used to help fill in a job-site address field. Never transmitted anywhere.
• Contacts — only used if you choose to pick a phone number for your boss/company. Never transmitted anywhere.
• Microphone / Speech Recognition — not currently used by the app.

What we don't do

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs collecting data on your behavior. The only third party involved at all is Apple — for processing App Store purchases (the Pro subscription) and, if you enable it, iCloud storage.

Sharing your summary

When you send a summary to your boss or company by Messages or Email, that message is sent directly from your device through Apple's own Messages/Mail apps — it does not pass through any server we operate.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page.
